Find quick answers for route planning, aircraft profiles, iCloud, CalendarHub, and .fpl export—or send the AeroTrail team a support request.
Get started
- Open Trips and create a trip with a departure, one or more destinations, and an aircraft profile.
- Build the first route, then review its map, stop list, day-by-day brief, and route health notes.
- Use Edit Stops to preserve the places that matter, or Optimize Route to rebuild fuel stops and day plans around your current preferences.
- When the plan is ready, export the full trip or one flying day as a compatible .fpl file for final review.
Review route and fuel-stop results
- Confirm the selected aircraft profile’s range, cruise speed, fuel burn, reserve, and fuel capacity.
- Review whether important destinations are pinned and whether large-airport or heliport filters match the trip.
- Open Route Health to review assumptions, planning notes, and each route leg.
- Remember that generated results are planning suggestions. Verify every leg, fuel source, runway, restriction, and aircraft assumption with current official information.
iCloud sync
AeroTrail uses private iCloud storage when it is available. For dependable sync, sign each device in to the intended iCloud account, keep network access available, and confirm a healthy sync status in AeroTrail Settings. After making a change, keep AeroTrail open while it syncs and confirm the update appears on each device.
CalendarHub connection
Connect CalendarHub from AeroTrail Settings. Trips sync when the connection is active, the trip has a start date, and CalendarHub sync is enabled for that trip. Manage connected devices and connection status from the same Settings card.
.fpl export
AeroTrail can share a compatible .fpl file for the whole trip or an individual flying day. Choose Save to Files from the iOS share sheet whenever you want to import the file directly from a compatible flight-planning app. Review the imported route as part of final flight preparation.
